Thank you for visiting us at the Africa Health 2017!
The 7th edition of the 3-days-event gathered more than 10,000 regional und international healthcare professionals and medical experts. More than 540 healthcare suppliers introduced their latest innovations and technologies to their industry peers. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy organized the German pavilion, one of 18 country pavilions.
With our participation in the Africa Health 2017 we not only further increased our brand awareness on the African healthcare market but also introduced our new BASIC line. The idea of the BASIC line was triggered by the fact that many African countries, especially rural and remote areas, are still lacking of basic medical equipment and healthcare provision. Our new BASIC line aims to improve medical diagnostics, standards and treatments in these countries and to provide high quality basic equipment for any institution in any part of the world. The whole line characterized by easy and reliable solutions at economic prices without impairing the typical KUGEL medical quality which we are know for around the world. The BASIC line includes anatomy and autopsy tables for medical education at universities, grossing tables for any kind of diagnostic work in the fields of pathology and histology, lift and transport trucks for deceased, morgue refrigeration units that are even suitable for tropical environments and many more. Like any other of our solutions, the BASIC line is MADE IN GERMANY.
The 13 conferences provided healthcare education to all attendees, 9 of the conferences were even CPD accredited. As previously mentioned, all proceeds from the conferences were donated to local charities. The proceeds from the clinical conferences were awarded to Surgeons for Little Lives. The non-profit organisation is passionately uplifting the lives of children in need of life changing surgery. All proceeds from the non-medical conferences were donated to Just Footprints Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation that takes children with serious health and life challenges and disabilities to camps in Africa. Last but not least, the proceeds from the nursing conferences were awarded to the Academy of Nursing South Africa (ANSA), which has the vision of recognizing, utilizing and promoting excellence in nursing and midwifery in South Africa.
